In our activities, we are guided by the principles of manufacturing products and providing services in terms of environmentally responsible and sustainable entrepreneurship. Both our consumers and the environment are equally important to us. As an artisan bakery, we exclude machine production and the use of artificial materials as much as possible. For example, the flour for Tartine branded bread is ground from the best wheat at the Austrian Fidibus mill, which is entirely made of wood and stone. For proofing bread we use natural rattan baskets and cover them with 100% natural linen fabric. From the first day we do not use plastic bags, preferring kraft paper bags. We are moving away from plastic straws whenever possible, in favor of biodegradable paper or straw straws. We also encourage visitors to purchase and use our branded reusable textile bread bags.
